Dr. Kulkarni begins study to see how ViQural protects the immune system against viral infections like the H1N1 virus.

 

He received his undergraduate at (B.A.M.S) and postgraduate (M.D.) levels in Ayurvedic medicine from University of Poona.  Ayurveda is the traditional Hindu system of medicine, which is based on the idea of balance in bodily systems and uses diet, herbal treatment, and yogic breathing.

 

Working as visiting Associate Professor and Head of the Dept. of Ayurvedic Medicine in Ayurved College Sangamner, Maharashtra Dr. Kulkarni academic career has been a Meritorious and Glorious. There are several awards to his credit for being a leader in various subjects. He has presented papers on: Treating Psoriasis with Panchakarma, Understanding the concept of Agni, Tuberculosis and its management in Ayurveda, Concept of Alcohol addiction and its management in Ayurveda, Standerdisation of Ayurvedic Medicines, Sheeta and Ushna Veerya to name a few.

 

When Dr. Kulkarni learned about the success Dr. Nson had in using ViQural to kills pathogens on contact, freeing up the body's own immune system and allowing it to work at full capacity.  He felt compelled to begin clinical studies to discover the effect ViQural would have in building up the body's immune system in protecting it against the H1N1 virus.

Dr. Abhay Kulkarni
